Tim is the Co-Founder of Pyments Law. His commitment to providing a service of the highest quality is central to the firm’s approach.
Tim has spent over thirty years in a multi-disciplinary quantity surveying practice and brings immense experience from the project services and dispute resolution sector. He is also the Chief Executive Officer and founder of the specialist quantity surveyor firm, Pyments. Tim is a full and practising member of The Academy of Experts and a Law Society ‘Checked” Expert Witness.
A lifelong sportsman who loves all sport (but in particular football, cricket and horse racing), Tim firmly believes that, despite the seriousness of the role, a sense of humour is vital in managing the stresses and strains of modern business.
Warren is the Co-Founder of Pyments Law. He is a construction and engineering law specialist with over twenty-five years of experience in the construction sector. He is also the Founder and Director of Berwick Law, a well-known construction law specialist.
Warren manages UK and international disputes in the Courts, arbitration and adjudication. He advises with respect to domestic and international transactions. This may be drafting a complex bespoke contract, amending a standard form contract, or reviewing and commenting on project documents. His approach is to help clients understand the risks involved in a project and then seek to allocate those risks appropriately between the parties. If risk allocation is clear in the contract documents, any later disputes are often easier to manage and resolve.
Dominic is a Solicitor-Advocate and has spent over five years advising on construction law, litigation, and commercial disputes. He is an experienced drafter, negotiator, and advocate with a demonstrated history of working in high-value and complex matters.
As a solicitor-advocate, Dominic has secured Higher Rights of Audience, enabling him to represent clients in county courts through to the Supreme Court. Dominic’s advocacy skills are regularly deployed in mediation, joint settlement meetings, and in courts of all levels.
In his spare time, Dom enjoys days out with his young family and watching his football team, Brighton & Hove Albion F.C.
Lucy is the lead administrator and provides paralegal support to our team and our clients.
Lucy is a qualified bookkeeper with over twenty years of experience working across a variety of industry sectors, including construction, architecture, manufacturing, and leisure. More recently, Lucy has gained a level 3 Award in Paralegal practice via NALP (National Association of Licensed Paralegals) and provides paralegal support to our team across a variety of matters and client types. She has also completed an MBA.
Outside of work, Lucy is a keen runner, having completed her first ‘baby’ 50km ultra marathon and enjoys how running teaches you how to plan, overcome challenges, to keep going and sometimes how to fail and still come back for more.
Jo provides vital support to the accounting and administrative functions of Pyments Law, and in addition, also routinely supports the teams on a range of day-to-day activities, ensuring client needs are met fully and on time.
When not walking her two beautiful Clumber Spaniel rescue dogs, Jo enjoys a spot of DIY!
