Who we are
The Pyments brand was established over 35 years ago, with Pyments QS, a cost consultancy which provides specialist services to construction. Pyments Law was born out of this to provide specialist legal advice to the industry. More than 10 years on, Pyments Law and Pyments QS continue to work together providing services to tier one contractors, specialists, developers and end user clients.
We regularly manage high-value, complex cases, in adjudication, mediation and litigation in the Technology and Construction Courts. Our team have a wealth of experience in drafting and negotiating contracts. When drafting, we seek to understand the risk profile of your needs and those of the wider project participants. We translate this into user-friendly and balanced drafting, which in turn reduces the scope for unnecessary negotiation.

Surrounded by history
Our office is based in Kinwarton House, a building steeped in a rich history.
Built in the late 18th century, this Georgian Manor House was commissioned by William Wilberforce (1759-1833) MP who will forever be written into the history books as the man who led the abolishment of the Atlantic slave trade.
In the following decades, the house was home to several of William Wilberforce’s descendants. Set on beautiful grounds and surrounded by herds of deer, we look forward to welcoming you to Kinwarton House.
